i read all books of laskar pelangi, laskar pelangi, sang pemimpi, edensor, and
maryamah karpov. i chased the movie to Bandung.
why i love these books? here i tell you something...

years ago, 2007. i visit cousin's home known as "rumah pojok". at book shelf i
saw laskar pelangi book for the first time in my life. it was very thick. n i'm not geek, i dont like read. that time i dont care about Laskar pelangi....
Kuala Lumpur...
someday, at room B101 of 12th residental college. Pak Tulus, phd student visited
my room to print his assignment. we started to chat about everything. once, he
told about "laskar pelangi". he began to told story about that book. since that
day, i knew Laskar Pelangi.
it's time to googling LP's e-books. gotcha! i started to read paragraph by
paragraph, page by page. i remember that time, it was revision week before final
exam at 2007/2008. awesome! the story has powerful word. it like burn my spirit.
edensor, weeks after reading LP. K Ummu Hani visited me and gave some cakes and a
book. Edensor! the third book of Andrea Hirata. it's such miracle. i just
finished the first one. n why i got the 3rd? can't believe it? who told K Hani
that i'm addicted to LP? nobody knows. this book was malay version. syukron ka Ummu!
the second, sang pemimpi. i got the 3rd, but i dont dare to read it. i'm afraid i lose path of Ikal's journey. time to googling, and gothcha! for this book, i used recycled paper to print on it. tada! sang pemimpi printed version. not so bad!
the movie...
yeah. nowdays, many movies adopted from novel, such us Harry potter (i never read
the novel, but like it movie), etc.
Laskar pelangi, i heard that LP's movie will be released at Ramadhan 2008. i started to googling to find some facts. it was like good news for me! other source said that the movie will be launch together with the last book, maryamah karpov. it launched! i still at Kuala Lumpur. no chance to come back! just hear about that movie from friend who watched it. sad! jealous! curios! arrgh..
i got OST of LP from misshacker.com. once download, one album got, nice!
nidji, gita gutawa, netral, ipank, garasi, and yaris yamarno, all on my mp3 list.
i always listen to them during leisure. even dont wacth d movie yet but i have the original soundtrack.Yey! sounds happy. =)
semester break,semester 1-2008/2009...
i came back from Kuala Lumpur on 15 of December, after a month spending time at campus, kayaking, part-timing, and surviving at lake. 1st day at home, i planned to watch Laskar pelangi the movie. usually i watch at Bintaro Plaza, the nearest cinema from home. started to googling, 21 cineplex. OMG! the movie was out. bad news, very bad. one of my purposes to came home is to watch LP's, but fate dont let me. huff!
never give up...
googling again at different cinema, gotcha! LP is playing at Galaxy cinema, jalan kepatihan, Bandung.
finally, after 2 weeks at home. my family wanted to go holiday, new year holiday at Cipanas and Bandung, yey! Bandung.
i watched Laskar pelangi at Bandung, Galaxy cinema on Saturday, 3rd of January 2009.

ok, i have some reasons to love Laskar pelangi:
1- it was challenge me to live my life
2- i wanted to feel the core of life
3- believe that life is sweet with sweat.
4- that's all
